EDIT: The more i look at this, the more I hate it... terrible composition lol.
Oh well, its very old and I feel that I have much improved since then!

"Fool! You cannot best me in battle!" The avatar drew his flaming sword. "If all else fails, I will at least have the pleasure of grinding you to dust."

The avatars clashed, striking at each other with the power of their opposing planes. The ground on which they fought began to rise, forming a plateau beneath them.

Finished for now until i can find something wrong with it, its 5am, im still at school in the computer lab, time for sleep!

(This piece was first created in 2005 but never finished til now for school assignment

um... not sure i get it, that lit up guy is an avatar... fighting a whole bunch of other avatars on that plateau like thing? just wanna make sure i'm understanding this right before i comment.

i think the idea was that the guy who is being blasted by electricity is an avatar of a god, so kind of like a superhero equivalent i guess you could say, fighting along side a mortal army, that are fighting other mortals

Wow I really love this epic artistry! It reminds me of the art that they used to make on the magic the gathering cards, how detailed it is while still being able to be taken in in one glance, how no matter how hard you look at it you can almost always find something new but you can still get a gist of the piece just by glancing it over.

Oh wow fantastically done! This reminds me of two films, one beign '300', where the persians are pushed off the cliff, two, Jet Li in 'The One' at the end where he's battling all these men and knocking off a tower. Awesome stuff
